Recently Keurig sent me a Platinum Brewing System to try. I love that it only makes 1 cup of coffee at a time because my Husband doesn’t drink coffee and so I always feel like I am wasting it when I make an entire pot. I also love the different size cup options. My husband can use the smaller water options for making Hot Chocolate, and I can use a larger size for filling up my travel mug with coffee.
It’s also convienient that the water is always hot and ready. When I wake up in the morning I can just put in one of the K-cups and have coffee instantly. I was also surprised to learn how many varieties of K-Cups there are. You can get everything from Hot Chocolate to Celestial Seasonings Tea, French Roast, Kona, Hazelnut, and just about any other flavor or blend of coffee you can imagine. The prices on K-Cups are a little high if you plan on drinking a lot of coffee in a day, but since I just drink 1 cup in the morning normally I found it actually a little less than what I would spend making a pot of coffee.

I love Keurig. I’m partial to the Donut Shop Coffee and I’ll have Timothy’s Decaf at night. My daughter is moving out and I’d love to give her a Keurig. She’s going to miss the ease of our machine here at home. What a great housewarming present it would be.
