Our church partnered up with a local elementary school to provide the kids with something they need/want this Christmas. So my husband and I were able to gift a 13 year old boy exactly what he wanted, a Target gift card. :)

This year my husband and I are focusing on my grandmother. We are taking over her farm, buying her farm supplies and food for the animals to give her a break. She has done so much for us, so this Christmas we are taking care of her.

I plan on giving back by giving my son Hannukah gelt, and then teaching him about giving to others. He is only 2.5 but I want him to learn early> I gave him the choice and he already gave some of the money he received into a charity box!

I run the knitting shawl ministry at our parish. due to the weather we have only been able to meet once. I have used the time wisely though and when I go by the parish I will be dropping off a few more shawls so that someone can be comforted.
