I have breastfed all of my children and worked and pumped with my first one. Pumped only in the morning with my second and would pump now with the newest one but she won't take a bottle :-( Anyways, my pump is still chugging along AND medela replaced the old diaphragm free of cost because it was having isssues. medela pumps are worth every single penny. Mercedes I just wanted to stop by and say that you have given a very thorough review of medela pumps. I have breastfed all of my children and worked and pumped with my first one. I said, "No way." However, we were given a hand me down from a friend and I was so sad when it died. IF YOU BREASTFEED, a breast pump is a must. I had to buy another one and sent my husband out that day. He bought the cheaper swing pump but I still prefer that one with the stronger motor. Now that I am having another baby, I want my first one back but do believe Medela is a great brand and it is definetely worth the money if you breastfeed. Engorged breasts are not fun!
