I know when it comes to deal hunting and the Internet we often see sales that are “Too good to be true” and often when we find prices that are deeply discounted the word spreads like a wildfire and companies have recently been doing a lot of retracting orders on the basis of too much demand, or out of stock, etc.
Yesterday I read this article about a company that I’ve promoted on this site before which made a huge error in pricing on their site last Friday. 6pm.com had a computer error that caused all items (Even the ones that were over $1000) on their site to be priced at $49.99 or lower. This word got out and spread around the message boards and the company lost around $1.6 million dollars from selling merchandise below cost in just a few short hours. However, rather than canceling orders 6pm.com is choosing to complete the orders stating that this was their mistake, not the customers! I want to give a big shout out to this company for sticking by their word. So often we choose to use our voice online to criticize companies that are doing the wrong thing, or have poor customer service so I wanted to bring to your attention a company that is putting it’s customer first!
I personally have ordered from 6pm.com several times in the past and I have always been pleased with how fast my order arrives, I’m thinking I may start shopping here more, and hopefully finding a few more deals for you too.
