The Roku Digital Video Player is a fun device that connects your TV to the Internet and allows you to stream videos directly from the Internet to your TV with no computer required! You can also purchase Chanel subscriptions from Roku, these are mainly for Sports so if you’re into the MBL then you can get the MBL.TV channel or the NBA Game Time Channel.

It took me a little while to figure out exactly what the Roku Digital Video Player  was, but after I did I was excited to learn that you can play Netflix and Amazon Video on Demand Movies directly to your TV. So if you have a Netflix Subscription then you can watch movies anytime on your TV when you want. This is much better than just downloading them or watching them on your laptop because now everyone can enjoy them in the comfort of the living room.

Also, I often get Amazon Video on Demand Credits from shopping on Amazon.com so that would mean we could order a movie to watch and we can watch it somewhere other than the computer. Also, another great feature was that you can play Pandora Music on your TV. So it was a nice change to listen to some music on our TV. The only thing that was disappointing was that I was hoping to be able to watch Hulu on my computer with this device and so far I haven’t figured that out. From what I’ve been able to see you can get unlimited netflix for only $8.99 a month and that is the best way to get unlimited content relatively inexpensive. The Roku Digital Video Player starts at just $79.99 and you can purchase it on the Roku Website.

Here’s how you can get$25 off a Roku HD-XR: Just Use Coupon Code: ready2roku when purchasing the Roku HD-XR. Visit Roku.com and click on Order Now to make your purchase.

The Amazing Race and Survivor are staples in our home. We love to catch up on old episodes of The Office on Netflix, so that would probably be the first thing we’d watch on the Roku. I’ve heard of it before but have always wanted to check it out!
