The Dremel 8200 is a cordless high-performance rotary tool.  It has a Lithium-Ion Battery and comes with a cutting guide attachment and 28 accessories.  The tool can be used for many different purposes including carving/engraving, routing, grinding/sharpening, cutting, cleaning/polishing, sanding, and drilling.  My husband was ecstatic when I told him he could try out the Dremel 8200.  He has had a corded Dremel 300 for a couple of years and loves using it.

Here are a couple of before and after pictures of one of his projects where he added a cooling fan to our attic.  He used his Dremel to cut out the plywood backing behind the vent before mounting the fan.  The 3 things he likes best about the 8200 are its versatility, that it is cordless, and its compact size.

You can purchase the Dremel 8200 on Amazon.com or at your local Sears, Lowes or Home Depot.
