Do you know a local Hero? Sears is honoring local heroes with their Salute to Heroes Sale.

Veterans, Police, Military, Firefighters, Teachers and Hospital Staff can all receive an additional 10% off their purchase on Saturday, August 28, from 11 AM to 2PM.

This offer is Valid In Stores Only and you can save 10% off your purchase of Apparel, Shoes, Lawn & Garden, Tools, Home Fashions, Electronics, Automotive and more!

“Local heroes” need to print out the Storewide Savings Pass found in this flyer. They have Jeans priced at $19.95 and more which make for a great deal even before the coupon.

Note: The sale is nationwide with the exception of these cities, which will hold it on September 4, 11 AM-2 PM in-store: Boston. MA; Seattle, WA; Miami, FL; Raleigh-Durham, NC; Dallas, TX and Cincinnati, OH.

My hubby is my hero and I would give the gift card to him to buy tools. He needs them for his job where he works hard to take care of our family.

I work in a police station with local heroes, so I would buy something for the office, like an extra coffee maker or something similiar for everyone that works there to enjoy.

My hubby has been a firefighter for over 20 years….my son is an Iraqi war veteran and advocate for war veterans…they are both very devoted to their causes..this would probably go to my son to enjoy for his own choosing..

I would send it to my son and his wife and child. My son is 22 and hs been to Iraq once, Afghanistan twice and he just re-enlisted! They deserve to be honored!!! We are so proud of them!

I would give the giftcard to my friend who’s husband is over there right now. I would make up a nice gift basket of items she could use and I would stick the gc in the basket.
