i work for walgreens and the bogo items on sale with bogo coupons is a grey area. tecnically you are not allowed to do this, but it does ring up. it has been an item that has been questioned before but come down to it, the answer is no. you have to BUY AND ITEM, then get one free.

I had the same problem so I printed out the coupon policy, which clearly states that two coupons can be used on both products with a bogo sale as long as it isnt an overage (if it is get a filler), and brought it up there to show the manager, who apparently doesnt know the coupon policies. I also went to a different Walgreens an had no problems.

Are you sure they will let you use (2) $3 off coupon when total would be more than the total price? I didn’t know about the upcoming BOGO. But the Walgreens I just went to tonight had the Cortaid on sale $2.99 each. I had two of the $3 off coupons and they wouldn’t let me use them because it was more than the price. The cashier said she can call the manager and he might can let me use one since I am buying two and it will then be over $3. So I told her just let me go back and get the ones for $3.99 that is marked NOW 30% MORE on the box so I can use both the coupons and I paid $1.98 after coupons and before taxes for two. : (
