Just tried making these cookies. They turned out super cakey and airy and weren’t very sweet at all. I had to add about a half cup more flour because it was so wet I couldn’t roll the dough into balls. They don’t look anything like the picture either. :-/

I would give this recipe a 4 out of 5. I was worried how dry the dough was prior to baking, but they ended up turning out pretty good. They are a thicker cookie, which I like, but the downfall was that there was almost too much chocolate. I love chocolate so that’s odd for me to say. I would make these cookies again, just not with full bags of both chocolates.

Are you sure you actually made these?? There’s way too much sugar, and with a whole bag of each of the chips and m&m’s it’s just way too much stuff for the dough to handle… They came out like thick hard cookie balls

    1. Passion For Savings says:

You can try cutting the chocolate chips or M&M’s in half if you prefer less candy in them. I do that from time to time or just use the M&M’s or the chocolate chips.

My cookies didn’t turn out at all… dough was too crumbly – I could barely make balls. They didn’t flatten, and were super dry.

    Yummmm…bugger!

  7. Morgan says:

My cookies never flattened out much from the ball, like yours did in the picture. Since this recipe is very similar to the good ole toll house chocolate chip cookie recipe I wonder if next time I sould decrease the amount of flour to 2 1/4 cups!
