    Walmart’s in our area no longer price match. They all stopped doing that after Savings Catcher came out.

      Hi Robin, my local Walmart price matches for me every time I go in. If you are having trouble I would check with the manager or go ask at Customer Service for their price matching policy.

    I worked at 3 different Walmarts in my area. The one about the coupon overage is wrong. At least in my district, you can only get off the amount of the item, no more. So if your coupon is for $1 and the item is only $0.99, you only get the 99 cents off…

    The clearance aisle sucks, the prices aren’t no clearance prices.

    Don’t forget to download the Walmart savings catcher app. You simply scan your receipt and if any surrounding competitors have lower prices you get the difference back. I received over fifty dollars over the last year. You will probably end up with more of you live in a bigger city with more competitors?

    All but the refurbished electronics. I tried it once and of course it went belly up. Also if I am not mistaken you do not get the same, if any warranty on these items. Not worth the risk on items that can run hundreds of dollars.

    I have an app only phone called Walmart savings catcher… You scan your receipt and it searches other local stores for cheaper prices on the items you buy, then gives you the difference.

    The rollbacks have more to do with local competitors prices than manufacturers pricing.

    I am one that will always try to get the biggest bang for my buck as a single mother to seven kids. I am not a people person nor do I do well when I seem to hit the high traffic of customers that appear to go to Walmart to just hang out. I strive to only drive to Wally Word early in the weekday mornings and not on weekends either nor through the 1-5th when Food Stamps benefits are released. Having these tips engraved within my brain will definitely make my trip to this store a bigger bang for my buck and lest stress on my nerves. Good handy article ! ~Robin of 7
