I love being outside with my kids and they love it when I play along with all their ideas! This week we decided to make a Chalk Obstacle Course and I’m so glad we did! Chalk Obstacle Course
One of our summer must-haves is sidewalk chalk! And we are always looking for new ways to have fun with it. So this week we challenged our neighborhood to all put some sort of obstacle course or workout on their driveway for us all to do.

The parents and kids had so much fun doing this! We started out with a huge hopscotch!
Then you got a short break from the hopping to run the zigzag! You can make the activities as easy or as hard as you want them to be. Some were easy like a balance beam but some houses had us doing high knee jumps and lunges!
Some of us may have gotten a tad dizzy on the spin course around the cul-de-sac.
More hopping but this time you hop from one Lilly Pad to the next!
My kids called this the crazy 8 run.

This was so fun and something our entire family enjoyed. But most of all it got us moving and laughing! No matter if you do this with your just your family or you challenge your entire neighborhood it’s a good time and great way to get some exercise.
