This homemade dusting spray made with essential oils will work perfectly for your dusting routine.
If you’ve made my Invigorating Peppermint Shampoo, you must have some Peppermint scented Castile Soap left over. This is another amazing homemade product to make using the same soap! Grab five ingredients and you’re on your way to a clean home!
Dust always makes me sneeze, and dusting is no different! Dust sprays and cleaners also make me sneeze while I’m using them, but I tough through it and clean the filth! This dust spray is different in that it doesn’t make me sneeze! It also has a nice light peppermint scent so my home smells fresh. If you do not like peppermint oil, you can certainly use unscented castile soap and another oil scent. Perhaps you’d like to change up the smell of your dusting spray for the seasons! Try lemon in the spring, orange in the summer, cinnamon in the fall and peppermint in the winter. If you use unscented castile soap, you’ll want to increase your oils to 5-8 drops.
Another reason I love this homemade dusting spray is that it is very affordable. For pennies you can make several batches of dusting spray. And if you run out, you simply make more! Just be sure you grab a spray bottle large enough to hold one cup of water (at least 8 ounces, but I prefer to use a 10 oz spray bottle). You can find spray bottles in the beauty section of a dollar store or Target usually for a buck or two!
Make sure you label your spray bottles of dusting spray to keep yourself and your family safe.
