Please tell me I’m not the only one craving all the fall foods? If it has to do with apples, caramel, or pumpkin spice I pretty much want to eat it. So with this in mind, I decided to whip up a drink that had as much fall flavors as I could possibly add, enter this Pumpkin Pie Milkshake Recipe that’s just to die for.
This is one of those recipes that’s so easy to whip up at home. If you are anything like me and not a huge fan of spending a lot of time in the kitchen (and we all know that a pumpkin pie from scratch takes time!), then this recipe is perfect for you.
You still get all the pumpkin pie flavors and all the extra coziness of something homemade without the huge time commitment that comes with making a pumpkin pie at home. It’s like having the best of both worlds in a huge glass of deliciousness.
Another of my favorite things is that this is creamy and cozy in the best possible way. The secret to making it so flavorful is to use pumpkin puree in the milkshake instead of only using pumpkin spice.
I know it may seem like an extra step, and as a busy mom myself I understand that everything that cuts a corner is the best, but in this case it’s totally worth it!
Just place into a pot the pumpkin puree the milk and the pumpkin spice and cook for 2 minutes to let it bloom, which basically means that it will get shiny and that the pumpkin spice will unleash all of it’s flavor power.
