Kohl’s is the place to find dream gifts for everyone on your list at a great value this holiday season. Kohl’s has a long-standing commitment to children’s health and education programs, and we are delighted to share with you that Kohl’s helped us “Pay it Forward” this Christmas to some deserving kids in our community.
Kohl’s gave us $250 to share with those in need and we came to know of some children at a local school that would not have a Christmas at all. Their family is in financial despair and we were given the opportunity to help them have a Christmas, and meet some needs they had as well.
I also love taking this opportunity to teach my own kids that giving to others is a special part of Christmas and not just looking to see how many gifts they get for themselves. Kids love to give to each other and I love seeing the joy of my kids picking out gifts for others.
Some friends of ours came along side us and provided more items to this family! It’s awesome to share the gift of giving with friends and help others “Pay it Forward” just like we were able to do.
These are all the items we were able to pick up at Kohl’s for this special family of kids with Kohl’s “Pay it Forward” initiative.
Don’t forget this holiday, Kohl’s offers exclusive hardcover books featuring Peanuts classics by author Charles M. Schulz along with coordinating plush toys for just $5 each through the Kohl’s Cares cause merchandise program. Also for $5, Kohl’s Cares merchandise brings shoppers the Holiday Cheer cookbook, the holiday CD Upon the Winter Solstice from Trans-Siberian Orchestra and a Peanuts jigsaw puzzle. Through the Kohl’s Cares merchandise program, Kohl’s donates 100 percent of the net profit to children’s health and education initiatives nationwide. Since 2000, it has raised more than $231 million for children’s health and education programs in local communities across the country.
If you still have a few gifts to pick up, I hope you’ll consider grabbing a few extra for someone in need. You might just brighten their Christmas more than you know! #showkindness
