Dollar Store Fall Decor Ideas Anyone Can Make
1.) Fall Table Setting Dollar Store Ideas
The dollar store finds on this table setting are fall colored candles, black posterboard (for the placemats), plastic pumpkins later painted white, and burlap. You might be able to find the acorns and faux leaves there too, but if you go on a nature hike, you could probably get some for FREE! For the full Table Setting Ideas go HERE.
2.) Wheat Bundle Centerpiece Fall Decor
You can buy wheat at most dollar stores in the Fall, then just wrap floral wire around the gathered wheat (you may want to use more than one bunch for a full centerpiece). Tie a small ribbon over the wire, cut the bottoms off to get the height you need and then arrange the wheat to look pretty! Add a big bow if you like or just keep it simple with your small bow you tied around the floral wire. This is so cute for a Centerpiece!
3.) Dollar Store Leaf Bowl Makeover
Purchase a plastic bowl and get your favorite flat white spray paint and put on a few thin coats. If you lightly sand all the edges you can get a ceramic look. Get all the details and makeover pictures at The Craft Patch.
4.) Chalk Paint Dollar Store Crackle Leaves
With a bag of silk leaves at the dollar store, some glue, paintbrush, and small container of chalk paint, you can make a cute set of leaves! For all the details and the paint colors go on over to The Painted Hinge.
This cute fall leaf wreath is made by attaching these large felt leaves that were found at Dollar Tree to a wire hangar with hot glue. Then the banner was created out of burlap, stencils and brown acrylic paint.
6.) Spray Painted Pumpkin Centerpieces
Just buy those inexpensive plastic pumpkins your kids use for treat or treating and spray paint them with gold, silver, white or whatever color you like to decorate with! You can also buy some leaf garland and spray paint that also! I love how she added some greenery into the large pails, that adds some color to the table and you really can’t go wrong with greenery in a centerpiece!
7.) Glass Mason Jar Fall Luminary
My local Dollar Tree carries plain glass jars so if you don’t have a Mason Jar on hand, you can find a glass jar for a reasonable price. Don’t forget to check the canning jars if you can’t find one in the craft section. Then just trace a leaf design on adhesive vinyl. Stick that to the smooth side of the vinyl (make sure your jar is smooth at least on one side). Just paint over it with acrylic paint, add twine and a tea light which can also be found at dollar stores and you have this cute Mason Jar Fall decoration!
8.) Faux Pumpkin Flower Pot Dollar Store Find
Faux pumpkins make the cutest flower pots! Just cut the stem out just like you would a real pumpkin and place your flower pot of Mums inside. You may want to cut a few small holes in the bottom of the faux pumpkin for drainage in case you overwater the Mums!
9.) Plastic Pumpkin Bucket Makeover with Burlap
Buy that orange plastic bucket at your favorite dollar store and make it over with burlap (my Dollar Tree sells burlap) and some twine! You’ll also need some old newspapers to stuff the pumpkin, spray paint, duct tape and of course your hot glue gun! This is so classy and cute!

These are perfect for a Fireplace Mantle! Just buy the $1 pumpkins at your favorite dollar store, spray paint them white and add brown on the stem or just leave them the same color as your pumpkin. You can use vinyl letters on the pumpkins or cut the letters out of cardstock and decoupage them to the front of your painted pumpkins.

A simple way to make a napkin ring is to hot glue ribbon into a loop and then hot glue the decorative part of a floral pick on top. I chose a pumpkin, so this idea will take you all the way through fall and after Thanksgiving!
19. Switch Out Wall Pocket Greenery
I love this one because it’s super quick, yet has a lot of visual impact in your décor. All you have to do is take out the old and add a few new! In this one, I used four picks from Dollar Tree. They’re a little smaller than floral picks at other craft stores, but since they’re only a dollar each, they’re still more inexpensive than the larger ones, even though you need to use more.
20. Wind Festive Trim Around Existing Topiary
This was an easy makeover for one of my existing topiaries. All I did was wind mesh tubing around the cone and it provides a lovely pop of autumn color! This is perfect way to add an autumn vibe to your mantle or bookshelf.
21. Add a Garland to a Curtain Rod
This is another easy option which adds SO much color to your room! It’s a great way to add color to your walls without switching out a lot of your wall décor. Simply wind the garland around the top of the curtain rod and that’s all there is to it!
22. Ribbon Curtain Tie Backs
The curtains look so pretty tied back with the Dollar Tree ribbon. This is wired ribbon, so it holds it’s shape nicely, too. The pumpkin print will match all of my fall décor!

Try mixing and matching sizes of topiaries and ribbon colors!
24. Adhesive Mesh Wrapped Candle Holder

26. Floral Spheres
For this DIY project, purchase three sizes of foam spheres from the Dollar Tree floral section. Then, all you have to do is pull the flowers off the floral picks and either stick them into the foam or hot glue them on. Floral picks are designed differently, so for one sphere, I hot glued on the flowers and the other two, I was able to press the plastic flower backing into the foam. They stayed perfectly and didn’t fall out while I was arranging them!
27. Statue Floral Makeover
This might be the quickest Dollar Tree DIY hack, yet! Deer and antlers are still popular design icons, so I added some flowers to mine! I think I might have to change out the flowers with every season. I quite like how it looks!!
