I just wanted to give you a quick update on my time at the BlogHer Conference in New York and share a few pictures with you. I’ve had a great time just learning and getting to meet so many bloggers that have become friends online.
The picture above is from this morning we had breakfast and listened to the Keynote address on how blogging is growing and influencing the lives of women all over the world. I love that this community can make a difference in the lives of people, everything from helping families get their finances under control to working to reduce child hunger in America.
Here’s another picture of some of the Amazing bloggers that I’ve already had the pleasure to meet. All of these ladies are super sweet and In encourage you to check out their sites if you haven’t already. From left to right. Me! Tracie from Penny Pinchin’ Mom, Mercedes from Common Sense with Money, and Keri Lyn from She Saved.
I’ve also gotten the chance to explore the city a little. Tonight we found the Magnolia Bakery and enjoyed cupcakes for dessert. We also walked around Times Square a little and I took a picture of the Walgreens in the middle of Times Square just for all of you guys because I knew you would get a kick out of it as much as I did but hopefully when my computer is working a little faster then I can get some more pictures uploaded for you.
Once again I can’t even begin to say thank you enough to ConAgra Foods for all they have done to make this trip a reality. I can’t wait to implement some of the great ideas and hopefully help to make this site more useful for all of us in the future.
