Kohl’s gave Passion for Savings $250 to spend on members of our community to help those in need! WOW! We were so very excited to get this opportunity and as soon as they told us what they wanted us to do, we had 2 very important groups of people we knew we could help!
First of all we were able to help a children’s home get some much needed necessities. We bought items for these families including:
Towels, Shower Curtains, Rugs, Hand Towels, Skillet, Can Opener, Griddle, Crock Pot, Juice Glasses, and more! The best thing about this was we were able to help this Children’s Home and members of our family were able to personally deliver the gifts! They were so appreciative and grateful! Here is a picture of the gifts all wrapped up and ready to be delivered!
When going on my shopping trip I planned out exactly how much money I had to spend on each family at the Children’s Home, took my 20% off coupon I printed online, and I also got $30 in Kohl’s Cash as Checkout! The best thing was that I had enough money left over along with the Kohl’s Cash to help another group of people in our community!
The next group we were able to bless was a group of kids that live in an apartment community at their annual Christmas Party. I was able to buy toys and games for these kids! Kohl’s has a large selection of toys this time of year so I found lots of great items like: Dominoes, Matchbox Cars, Fisher Price Toys of several varieties, Memory, a Dr. Kit and more!
We want to say a BIG Thank You to Kohl’s for this wonderful opportunity! We hope this will inspire you to help someone in need this year! What about someone who was struck by natural disaster, unemployment or health issues? We’re certain you can find a way to “Pay it Forward.” Head over to Kohl’s and shop their great Holiday sales and you can get some great deals and bring some cheer to others!
