Today I get to share a review and giveaway with you! You can win a portable power charger for your favorite devices.
Do you have trouble keeping all your favorite devices charged? Do you get tired of trying to keep all your cords together? The Hub 6000 features built-in cables and connectors for smartphones, tablets, e-readers and more. It also gives you lightning fast wall charging.
I was given the opportunity to try the Hub 6000 for myself. I am not very good about charging my phone during the day and I use my phone quite a bit off and on. I just don’t like to keep it plugged into and outlet and I am constantly unplugging it, then forgetting to plug it back in. Well with the Hub 6000 you can just plug your phone into the Hub and carry it around with you if you really need to use your phone and your phone is low on battery! I also love that I can charge more than one device at a time. I have an iPhone 4S so I can’t use the lightning connector, but my husband can with his iPhone 5. We can actually both charge our phones at the same time if he uses the lightning connector and I use the USB connector. There is still one connector left (the micro USB connector) which we don’t use because none of our devices have that connector. We also often charge our iPad and my husband’s iPhone at the same time. I love this feature!
My husband loves to take the Hub 6000 on trips so he doesn’t have to scramble for an outlet on layovers if he’s needing to charge his phone. He just needs to make sure the battery pack is charged before he leaves. He is always asking me if he can use the Hub and he likes to use it at home too!
The size of the Hub 6000 is about the size of an iPhone in length and width, but is quite a bit thicker (2.5 x 1.1 x 4.5 inches), however it is easy to throw into a backpack, purse or bag for portable charging. It’s still pretty lightweight also at 9.3 ounces.
A few weeks ago I was out running errands and the car I was driving doesn’t have a USB connector and my phone was about to run out of battery. If I had thought to take the Hub with me, I wouldn’t have had to worry about my phone battery. I had to stop at home to charge my phone before running more errands.
My brother-in-law is a gadget guy and is usually wanting to keep up with all the new technology. He saw our Hub 6000 over Thanksgiving and was really interested in it. He said he hadn’t seen anything like it for the price; this one retails at $99.99. The only negative he had to say about it was that it was a bit thick, but he didn’t know of any other product that was available with the price and options it had for charging so he said he’d love to have one.
Overall, I am thinking this would be a great gift idea for anyone in your family that needs a reliable battery charger for their devices. It has so many uses!
