Office Depot® and OfficeMax® stores, in the 50 United States and Puerto Rico only, and Officedepot.com (“Office Depot”) will gladly match the price on a qualifying item sold in store or online at Staples, Target, Walmart, Best Buy, or Amazon.com and copy and custom printing jobs from FedEx Office or The UPS Store (each a “Competitor”). We also match OfficeDepot.com prices on in-store purchases and in-store prices for OfficeDepot.com purchases. Please see below for more details on how it works.
Price Match Guarantee Guidelines
If you find a lower price on a new identical item in-store or online at a Competitor or Office Depot at the time of purchase or within 14 days after your purchase, show us the lower price and we will match the price or refund you the difference.
We include nearly all new items that are identical and in stock. Meaning, we will honor items with the same model number, features, and warranty that are in stock and available at the advertised price. We match service plans, computer services, copy and custom printing. For items sold with a service plan, such as wireless devices, the plan, provider, and associated terms must all be identical.
Our price is the final price you pay after any discounts, coupons, instant savings and mail-in savings are applied. We will match the Competitors’ point-of-sale price after deducting their instant savings/rebates and coupons.
Restrictions, Exclusions, and Limitations
Price matches are limited to one (1) Competitor price match per identical item per guest. Services that include delivery, installation and extended warranties are excluded.
We do not match the price of:
- “Marketplace” items (i.e. products sold or shipped by third parties on OfficeDepot.com or on a Competitor’s website);
- ad or price errors;
- items on closeout, clearance, or liquidation
- out-of-stock items;
- special orders, location specific offers, or gift card offers;
- holiday sale offers including Black Friday and Cyber Monday
- tax promotions
- Competitors’ mail-in rebates nor will we deduct the value of any gift with purchase;
- Office Depot catalog items;
- Office Depot online-only/in-store only specials;
- items offered to Office Depot contract customers;
- Office Depot Business Select items.
We reserve the right to modify or cancel the Price Match Guarantee at any time without prior notice. Any modification will be effective immediately upon posting of the modified Price Match Policy Terms and Conditions on OfficeDepot.com. We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any offer we are asked to price match.
How Does Our Price Match Guarantee Work?
In order to determine your item’s price match eligibility, we will need the price and model number of your item and confirmation by one of the following methods: printed advertisement, printed in-store signage, receipt of item purchased, picture of in-store signage or online offer from mobile device. For copy and custom printing jobs, a printed quote is required. Office Depot reserves the right to contact a Competitor to confirm a price.
If you already made your purchase, show us the lower price of a qualifying item within 14 days of your Office Depot purchase and we will refund you the difference.
