How to Make Rice Krispie Treat Easter Eggs

I am loving these AWESOME Rice Krispie Treat Easter Eggs, they are SO simple and adorable! The kids will love these and I can’t lie, my husband and I enjoyed them A LOT as well!

These are soooo easy to make, you basically use your Rice Krispie Treats Recipe and use plastic eggs to create the shapes. These Rice Krispie Eggs did not take any time at all and they most definitely didn’t last very long in my house!

This whole process takes almost no time at all and my kids ADORED them. They also looked super cute and it didn’t take much longer than making regular Rice Krispie Treats!

I made mine in pink and purple, but you can make any kind of fun Easter colors, like teal or yellow, just make sure you get that color dye for your Rice Krispie Treats. These are incredibly easy and they’re delicious, your whole family will love them.

Once you make your original butter and marshmallow mix, you’ll split it into two different bowls and mix in the food coloring of your choice with the Rice Krispies in each one and there you have it, colorful Rice Krispies.

Rice Krispie Treat Easter Eggs Recipe

Here is all you’ll need to make this delicious Rice Krispie Treat Easter Eggs:

6 Cups of Rice Krispies Cereal
1 1-0 oz Bag of Mini Marshmallows
6 TBSP Butter
Plastic Easter Eggs
Pam nonstick spray

Here is how you’ll make this great recipe:

Melt butter and marshmallows together in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave, stir occasionally while cooking
Split this mixture into two different bowls
Add the food coloring of your choice into this mixture in one of the bowls, then add half of the Rice Krispies to that bowl and mix together
Repeat this same action with your other food coloring choice, add in the Rice Krispies and mix together
Use the plastic eggs and spray them with Pam, then begin stuffing your Rice Krispies mixture into the plastic eggs for shaping
Remove your Rice Krispies from the plastic eggs and there you have it, a yummy Rice Krispie Treat Easter Eggs.
