Spicy Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Barilla Pasta Pronto
  • 3 Cups Cold Water
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1/4 Red Onion Diced
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 8 oz. of Parmesan or Colby Jack Cheese
  • 2 tsp. Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 Cups of Cooked and Shredded Chicken
  • 1/2 tsp. Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter

Instructions

  1. Place the Butter in a Skillet and heat over medium high heat until melted
  2. Add the Bell Pepper, Onion, Pepper & Garlic Powder and Saute over Medium Heat until the onion is transparent
  3. Pour all of the Bell Pepper & Onions onto a Separate Plate for later and wipe out the Skillet
  4. Place the Barilla Pasta Pronto into the Skillet and cover with 3 Cups of Cold Water
  5. Set the timer for 10 minutes and turn the burner on high
  6. Stir noodles while cooking to keep them from sticking to the bottom of the pan
  7. Once the water is absorbed into the pasta and the timer goes off add Cheese, Cream Cheese, Milk and Cajun Seasoning.
  8. Stir until all the cheese is well mixed and melted
  9. Add in Bell Pepper and Onion and the Chicken and Stir until well mixed
  10. Serve immediately!
