I didn’t get to use a lot of coupons this week, I actually did mostly price matching and buying up some basics that we were in need of like Lunch Meat, Chicken Breasts and Milk. I got everything pictured for $63.25 including tax!
All I got at Target was 2 5 lb. bags of Sugar which were priced at $2.40 each. We were completely out of Sugar so this was a decent price, I’m keeping my eyes open for an even better deal so I’ll let you know. I also grabbed some Easter Candy and that was it. I meant to pick up the Free Purex Deal, but I just forgot :) So I’ll have to grab that later this week or next.
I did a lot of Price Matching at Walmart. I price matched the Aldi’s Ad and also the IGA Ad for a few things. I also found a Peelie on the Cheese to save $1 off 2 Kraft Cheese Items so I got a little extra cheese. Here’s a break down of what I bought
- 2 Gallons of Milk (Almost $3 each! I couldn’t believe how much stuff had gone up in just 1 week) $6
- Chicken Breast $10
- Fruit and Vegetables Price Matched from Aldi’s (Apples $1.29 for 3 lbs. so I got 2 packages. Strawberries were $0.99 so I got 2, Lettuce $0.99 in the IGA Ad, Grapes were $0.79 at Aldi’s and I also grabbed some Carrots for $0.62/lb.) Total on Produce was just under $10 so I was really happy with that :)
- Lunch Meat, I had a coupon for $1 off a pound of Sara Lee Lunch Meat so I spent $6 on Lunch Meat to get a whole pound and use my coupon.
- The rest of what I bought was Cheese, Pop Tarts, Yogurt, Bagels, Trash Bags and other random things that we needed. This should get us through the week and I’ll have some Fruit and Chicken left over to use in next weeks menu plan. $24
I did make a quick trip in Walgreens but just to spend a few register rewards that were expiring. I didn’t need anything on sale this week so I really only spent the $15 in RR that were expiring and nothing else.
How did you do this week! Leave a comment and let me know!
