Great News! I know we have been having this discussion in the Comments for a while now, and i have finally gotten a copy of Harps New Internet Coupon Policy. I typically shop at the Harps on Mission and Crossover in Fayetteville. The Cashier’s at that store are great, and if you are having problems you might try a different store.

Internet Coupon Policy:

  • We will not accept Internet Coupons for $5.00 or more.
  • We will not accept Internet Coupons that do not scan or appear altered in any way
  • We will not accept Internet Coupons for Free Items, but we will accept Buy 1 Get 1 Free Items
  • We will not accept Internet Coupons whose Value Excess 60% of the Price of the item. Example: The limit would be a $0.60 off coupon on a $1.00 item.
  • We will not accept photo copies of coupons

General Store Coupon Policy for Northwest Arkansas Stores:

  • Harps in NWA doubles coupons up to and including $0.50 (Everyday)
  • Harps will double up to 2 of the same coupon (The Computers do this automatically)
  • Harps accepts up to 20 doubled coupons per transaction
  • Harps accepts all manufacturer coupons and some Internet coupons (See Above)

Here is the Official Harps Wording from an email I received:

Harps coupon offer:
We double manufacturer’s coupons up to and including 50 cents with a 20 coupon per family limit per visit.
There is a limit of 2 “like” items also.

At Price Cutter we do not double mfg. coupons.

Ad Match Statement:
“Every item advertised at Harps has an unbeatable price for the sale period indicated in the local newspaper ad. If another local store advertises an identical item at a lower price, simply tell one of our checkers and we will match the competitor’s ad price.
Excluding: lower quality items, coupons, games, purchase requirements, buy one-get one free and sell-outs”.

This means:
* Items must be advertised in the local newspaper
* Items must be advertised at the same time
* Items must be identical (no substitution of quality, brand or size)

OK ANYONE HAVING PROBLEM WITH HARPS TAKING INTERNET COUPONS CONTACT THE HEAD QUARTERS KISTED ON THERE PAGE. THEY WILL PERSONALLY CALL THE STORE MANAGER AND THEN THEY WILL START TAKING THEM I HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH THE HARPS IN GREENBRIER ARKANSAS. ALL HARPS DO TAKE INTERNET COUPONS IF THEY TELL YOU NO ITS THE STORE MANAGER MAKING THAT RULE NOT THE COMPNAY.

to clarify, the above Harps policy states they will not accept Internet Coupons whose Value Excess 60%….so if I have a $1.00 item w/ a .50 cent coupon I can not get the item “free”, correct? It will only deduct .60 cents? But if item is $1.50 it will double the coupon and I would receive $1 off the item since it’s value excess is less than 60%? Also, on in-ad coupons, can you use manufacturer coupons with those items as well? Thanks!

The Harps in Siloam will only double up to .50, not including .50. I even called and talked to a manager last night and he confirmed. I lost out on 4.00 because of that. :(

I was at the Price Cutter in Rogers yesterday and the cashier told me they aren’t taking ANY internet printed coupons. I asked her if this was something new because I was in there not too long before this and they took several without any problem. She told me it has been that way for a while. I just shrugged my shoulders and told her “Ok. Take those items off. I’ll have to go buy them at Walmart.” She, of course, didn’t care. You would think though, that a store like Harps/Price Cutter would go out of their way to try and keep the customers they have and not try to loose them to Walmart.

Ugh. I’m so irritated with the Harp’s on College. The supervisor tonight said that they only take Internet coupons when one manager is there and he only works in the mornings. Strangely, another cashier had just taken my Internet coupon without any comment but I’d forgotten that I had a bogo for feta that expires today. I left without buying the feta (and I hope the other cashier didn’t get in trouble). Do you have a link to this policy?

I’ve run into that too. I’m not sure why exactly but recently they’ve been checking the coupons. And it’s hard to argue with it when it’s printed on the coupon.

Thanks, I’ll just have to be choosy with which coupons I use there, make sure they’re a really super deal with or without the double.

I have just recently started couponing in earnest. I shop at a Harps in Bull Shoals, AR and WalMart in Flippin. I have had great luck doubling coupons, our stores around here double up to $.60. Today I was informed by the checker, not the usual lady when I’m there, that they won’t double the coupons that say “do not double”, but this was a first. She hand entered them all in because the first one didn’t scan for her. So is this typical? Do they only double certain coupons? Or did I catch a lemon today? I could have saved another $5.10, so I’m kinda bummed.

In Siloam, our IGA closed & is being remodeled into a Harp’s. Right now, we have Price Cutter in town, which will close when Harp’s opens in April.

I took an internet coupon for 50-cents off Nestle hot cocoa (NOT for a free item) to Price Cutter & was told they do not accept internet coupons.

Do you have a link to Harp’s site that says they DO take internet coupons? I would prefer to print out from their site to take in with me, as I keep the WM and Target coupon policies with me, just in case of any problems.

Thank you!

The Price Cutter stores do seem to be harder to get along with in all regards — ours won’t take any internet coupons either.

I shop at the Harps on 74th St. in Ft. Smith. They double to .60, as does the Harps in Fianna Hills in Ft. Smith. I’m wondering if this is an internet coupon policy for all of the Harps;
