Using Dollar General Coupons in the App
One of my favorite ways to save money at Dollar General is to use the Dollar General Digital Coupons in the Dollar General App. There are so many great coupons that are exclusive to Dollar General and you can often combine the Dollar General store coupons with Manufacturer Coupons for big savings.
Dollar General Coupon Policy
The best way to save at Dollar General is by stacking Dollar General Coupons with Manufacturer’s Coupons and you can use 1 of each per item. We suggest printing out and taking the Dollar General Coupon Policy with you when you shop in case you run in to any issues when you check out.
It is also important to remember that they do not take Competitor’s Coupons since they have their own store coupons that you can use along with your Manufacturer’s Coupons. Dollar General also will not accept coupons for free items if the coupon does not require you to make a purchase. They will allow you to get free items after coupons, but they do not give out overage when your coupon values exceed an item’s total. As with almost every store, they will not accept a coupon if the bar code will not scan at the register or if the promotion code is invalid.
