Target introduced the Target Teacher Discount to help Teachers Stock their Classroom for less! This year, Target is bringing back their Teacher Discount, a nation-wide 20% discount on select classroom supplies and all you have to do is sign up online! The 20% Discount Includes everything from pens, pencils and crayons, to storage, organization and more.

The offer is valid in stores and on Target.com, starts July 16th 2023 through August 26th, 2023.

15% Target Teacher Discount + Bonus 5% Savings

If you have Target REDcard, you will get an additional 5% Discount! Sign up for REDcard here. The 15% Target Teacher Discount should apply first, then the additional 5% Discount will apply at the end of checkout! This is a great bonus way to save!

Where Do I Sign Up For the Target Teachers Discount?

Target.com has a Special Page here, Go to this page and click the link to enter your school information to receive your coupon via email.  You will need to complete the form with your Name, Email, School, and Zip Code and your coupon should arrive by email. 

IMPORTANT: You will need to complete this form to verify your teacher status BEFORE you go to the stores. Do not just show up at the stores without first connecting your account.

What School Supplies Are Included In the Teachers Discount at Target?

Target has said that “Classroom Supplies” will be included, I’m not 100% Sure if there will be additional items included, but the items that are being advertised include the following:

How do I get the Teacher Discount at Target?

You need to Verify Your teacher status in the Target App or using your Target.com Account. You can click the “Get Verified Button for Teacher, Student, and Military service members . Once you enter your information and you are successfully verified you should see a Target Circle Coupon added to your account when the event starts! 

How Many Times Can I get the Teacher Discount?

The Target Teacher Discount is a One Time Use Target Circle Coupon! You need to verify your account as a Teacher so that you will receive this coupon!

How Long Will the Target Teacher Discount Last?

The Target Prep Event runs from July 16th – August 26th so you have a few weeks to shop and get your additional 20% Savings!

Can I get the Target Teacher Discount Online?

Yes! You will receive a one time use code when you register to use online. I’m not sure if you can use both the online code and the in store code, I believe it’s one discount per person.

Is there a Target Teachers Discount for Home School Teachers?

YES! Target has specifically said that Day Care Teachers, Preschool Teachers, and Home-school teachers all qualify for the discount! You just need to complete the form online to get your coupon. 

Here is everyone that can take advantage of this discount: K-12 teachers, homeschoolers, daycare/early learning educators, university or college professors, and vocational/trade/technical school teachers, can verify they are a teacher via Target® Circle.

Is there anything for College Students?

College students can take advantage of savings with an increased 20% college student discount through Target Circle, the return of tax-free weekends and all-season-long low prices. You will need to verify that you are a college student to get this discount.
