$5 Applied Nutrition Walgreens Coupon | $5 Money Maker on Calcium!

Sorry Guys, Looks like for those of you who tried this the coupon is beeping. I haven’t been able to find any of the Vitamins so I didn’t get a chance to try it. Thanks for everyone who let me know.

It’s funny that they are trying to use the only items pictured speech, if you print the coupon from the Wags website it ONLY shows the mens hair growth supplement! I tried to show them that coupon compared to the book coupon (which are the same coupon) means it’s not about the picture. From other posts I have read say that Wags customer service said it should be working and that its some sort of glitch. But no dice at my Wags and they were plain nasty about it too.. Empahsizing that I was already getting it for free, what more did I want? really. rudeness

I must be soooo lucky… I’ve been to 4 Walgreens and they will all override the beeps. My local, fab Wags just is entering it as $5 so you don’t even have to have the coupon!

I was told at my Wags that the coupon is connected to everything Applied Nutrition except the Calcium and that it would work on the after the RR promo concludes. But at least there was the $1 inside….

Manager at my store said it’s cause it’s a money maker so they won’t take it. The RR’s ,make it free and the coupon lets u pocket $5. Their computer won’t take it. They are really watching coupons these days & paying closer attention to how they’re used.

  I got these type of answers this weekend at my stores too when I was doing the Icy Hot MM.
  Icy Hot was 99 cents, and you get a 99 cent RR. I had the $1/1 coupon (all they had to do was reduce the coupon value to 99 cents and it would be free – which IS their coupon policy!!!). The managers were all called at the stores I went to, and they all said the 99 RR means they can’t accept the coupon. WRONG!
  Using the coupon just means the manufacturer is fronting the 99 cents to buy the item, not me. Walgreens’ promotion for it being “free” is they offer you 99 cents (RR) in the future to get 99 cents now (coupon or cash) – why do they care if it’s out of my pocket or the manufacturer’s??? RR are only good at Walgreens, so it’s not like they are really giving you money, they are giving you credit. So effing frustrating!

    I had that happen as well. If you add a “filler item”(laffy taffy) they will take your coupon. The problem was that the total was 1 cent more than the item.

My Walgreens wouldn’t take it either. The manager said it’s because the coupon is for June and to come back on the 1st to try again.

  The coupon booklet itself says “offers valid 5/29 – 6/25/11″ so I wouldn’t bother going back on the 1st – it won’t work then either.

At one Walgreen that I went to here in Woodbridge, VA, the manager did an override on the coupon for me. At another Walgreen down the street, they would not. They said that it had to be one of the 2 supplements pictured. Confusing coupon being that it says any AppliedNutrition supplement….

My cashier wasn’t going to accept it because the computer wasn’t accepting it, but she asked the manager, who told her to go ahead and do the override. So I was able to get it!

This deal worked at my Walgreens. It was actually a six dollar money maker because there is a $1 coupon in the pharmacy coupon book that can also be used. Me and two of my friends each grabbed one and since one of my friends takes numerous calcium tablets daily, we were able to give her ours.

I tried using the $5 coupon as well but it wouldn’t take it as well. My cashier said the same thing, that it has to be the one pictured. The $1 coupon in the vitamin book did go thru though! A $1 moneymaker at least!

I tried doing this deal and the coupon from the June booklet was not accepted. She tried scanning it twice. She informed me that only the items pictured were applicable. :( I tried to explain that the wording allowed for any applied nutrition supplement but she was not having it. If this had been my favorite WAGS they would’ve pushed the coupon through for me! :(
