Target Gift Card Rules: Since there are a lot of Deals at Target with Gift Cards this week I thought I would remind you of a few rules.

Target allows you to purchase more than one gift card deal in a transaction. So if I buy 4 of the Lipton Tea I will get 2 of the $5 Gift Cards back.

The Gift Cards are prompted at the Register. After the cashier scans 2 items the gift card will pop up on their screen and remind them to give you the gift card.

You can roll these, So you can do 1 Transaction and get your gift cards then use them on the second transaction and you will receive new gift cards.

Here’s an example:

Transaction #1:

Buy 4 Lipton Tea, $5.99 each
Use 2 of the $2/2 Lipton Multipack, exp. 5-21-11 (Pepsico Moments)
Pay $19.96 Out of Pocket and get 2 of the $5 Gift Cards Back
Like paying $2.49 each.

Transaction #2:

Buy 4 Lipton Tea, $5.99 each
Use 2 of the $2/2 Lipton Multipack, exp. 5-21-11 (Pepsico Moments)
Use the 2 $5 Target Gift Cards from Transaction #1
Pay just $9.96 Out of Pocket and get 2 New $5 Gift Cards
