Nothing says refreshing on a hot day like a cold treat from the freezer! This summer make your own frozen treats and have as much fun making them as you will have eating them.In many cases the homemade treats you make will be better for you than what you can buy in the store. You know exactly what is going in them and you can choose low fat or low calorie varieties of the yogurt, milk or other ingredients that go into them.
Most of these recipes can be made with any type of mold you wish to use. The good old-fashioned ice cube tray with a toothpick, a small paper cup with a popsicle stick or if you have purchased freeze pop molds to use just for this purpose, all will work just fine.
