your website is great!! thank you!!!!!!!!!! :)
I can’t wait to print my coupons and use them
Awesome!!!!! I have attempted this in the past but cold never quite figure it out on my own. A friend of mine told me about this web-site. Thanks so much for the on-line course as it saves gas money driving and I can attend in my pajama’s :) I used my 1st coupon the other day for a $5.50 product and only paid $ . 50 cents that is the kinda savings I am looking for as my husband is laid off and money is super tight. I am still in the learning process and trying to put together my binder – having a hard time finding the baseball card sheets to hold the coupons. Once again thanks so much.
I just started to get organized myself.I went to Walmart yesturday and found the baseball card protectors there for $4.97. For this price I got a pack of ten. they also had the sheet portectors for $2.97 for a pack of 20
I love this site, you are so helpful in all areas, but could you tell me since i am pretty knew to this where do I find a coupon binder
Thank you
So I don’t know if it is because it is the end of the year but for the last two weeks we have not had coupons in our papers!! Is this normal for this time of year?
Thanks, Susan
Yes, that’s normal. There are typically no coupon inserts on holiday weeks.
Your site has been very helpful to me… Thank you for all you do…
So glad I found this site, I look forward to learning how to save and use coupons.
I watched an episode of Extreme Couponing the other day. 16 years old Male in CA bought Quilted Northern toilet paper.. And a lot of it. All for free. $11.99 coupons. Where do coupons like that come from? I never see those kind.
Cant wait to start saving. Thank you Passion for savings…
I am new to couponing. I have everthing organized but how do you find the best deals each week? I’m having trouble spotting the deals when going through the ads or online.
I’m a new coupon person, too, What I found out is that, you have to go into the stores also. Somtime they have sale inside stores that’s not in sale paper. Hope this helps you.
how do you do this couponing to get thebest deal when target, walmart and kroger wont let you stack coupons? i’ve seen on extreme couponing they get multiples of the same item and the coupon doubles so all the items are the same price but if the store they’re shopping at only allows one coupon either store or manufacturer, how do they do that?
Holly, the way to get the best deal on items is to wait until they are on sale and then use your coupons for maximum savings. Keep on the lookout for deals that Heather posts on her website for all the different stores that you shop at because she will tell you what coupons to use to get great prices on items. As far as stacking coupons (using a store coupon AND manufacturer coupon on a single item), I know for a fact that Target does let you do this. They have store coupons on their website, and they take manufacturer coupons as well, which allow you to save a lot of money. Walmart does not have store coupons, so you cannot stack there, but Walmart will pay you overage, which is so cool, so you can actually make money there if your coupon is worth more than the item you are purchasing with it!! I don’t know anything about Kroger, since we don’t have them in my general area. Hope this helps.
Walmart is great for stacking because they accept ANY store coupon. So you can use your albertsons store coupon at walmart or vons coupon at walmart and so on. There are some restrictions but not much. Walmart is the maximum savings in my opinion :)
Is this allowed in CA. I find that CA does not have as much to offer as other states..Like double coupons, Northern CA does not offer to my knowledge.
Hey Jennifer! It all depends on the store. Which stores do you use the most?
On the tv show Extreme Couponing they show people buying enough of one product that the store actually owes them money at the end of check out. The last show we seen one of the ladies actually walked away with the store owing her $150.00 that they ended up putting on some sort of store gift card. I just want to know if this is really possible to do and if so HOW? My girlfriend started couponing about 3 months ago and I’m trying to find ways to help her out. We just found your site and like it very much. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Frank, I saw that episode too and that lady was amazing! She had the advantage of having a store that not only doubles coupons, but will also pay you overage if your coupon is worth more than the product you are purchasing with it. That’s how the store owed her money. I guess in certain parts of the country there are grocery stores like this, but in the area I live in, none of the grocery stores or drug stores pay overage, except for Walmart. Check coupon policies at all the stores in your area or talk to reps at customer service to find out.
As a newly single parent saving money has become very important to me. I am new to couponing, and a friend told me about this site. The site is very educational. I love it.
Yay! I am so glad that it has helped, Lori! :)
Hi I am a big fan of the TLC Show etxtreme couponing. I just found this website and I am happy I did. I do have a question how do u organize ur coupons. Like for example by item or by alphabitical order. Also is there away to add these items and subtract what you save so u dont get to the checkout and either have to put items back because you didnt have enough coupons or money to cover it. Thanks for all of ur help!
HOW DO YOU DOUBLE COUPONS THATS WHAT I DONT UNDERSTAND. DO THEY DOUBLE ON THEIR OWN? HELP!
Hi Gina,
Some stores double coupons and others dont, you’ll want to find a store in your area, then when they scan the coupon at checkout it will automatically take off twice the value of the coupon. So a $0.50 coupon will scan like this
-$0.50 Manufacturer Coupon
-$0.50 Store Coupon (This is the Double Coupon Part)
Hope that helps!
Heather
Hi I have watched your videos and love them but I still don’t understand one huge thing. so You have your coupons sitting in front of you however you organize them, how d you know when to bring which ones to the store so you get the best lowest price and how do you shop with these coupons with having so many different categories like beauty, health, cleaners, food etc.. you cant possibly sit in the beauty isle looking for this razor and that soap and this shampoo you woulud be there for hours? and Nobody can ever quite answer that and Im so overwhelmed. if you want you can email me to help.. PLEASE HELP . I WANT TO LEARN SO MUCH.. thanks You really do make great videos though.. Fern @fcwww@aol.com
Hi Fern,
What I do is I get my list together beforehand, for example, CVS. I create a list and attach all my coupons and calculate what my ECB’s are going to amount to once my transaction is complete. I take this into the store which makes it really easy. So you have to have sort of like a game plan before you hit the store, because you are right you would be in the store for hours and get frustrated and give up. So when I go in the store I already know which items I will buy and how much ECB’s I will have left after I finish rolling them from one deal to the next. I also decide on what items I will spend my ECB’s on or whether I am going to keep them for next week’s sale this avoids you just spending your ECB’s on something that doesn’t give you a rock bottom deal.
ok im new to this so i really hope this helps me save by using coupons
