Help! Our yard is turning into a Jungle! All of this heat has our Front Flower Beds a little out of control so I’ve decided to join in on the Bagster Bag Blogger Challenge and use the Bagster Bag to help get my Front Yard under control! And I’m inviting you to join along!

What’s the One Project You’ve been Putting Off that you NEED to do?

One of the ways we have always saved money is by doing outdoor projects ourselves. My husband has always done all of our Yard and Landscaping himself and it’s been a huge money saver! The problem sometimes, is motivating yourself to get started and (My Biggest Problem: Finding the Time to Get it done!).

I also find that with projects like outdoor clean up you have to figure out how to get rid of everything. The Bagster Bag is basically a Dumpster in a Bag! It’s a convenient and affordable solution for smaller home improvement projects. You buy the bag at your local home improvement store and then fill it up, when you’re done you just have them pick it up and your project is cleaned up. I’m excited to give this one a try and let you know how it works. If you want more information you can follow The Bagster Bag on Facebook or Check them out on Twitter!

Our Plan:

We are planning to Tear out all of the Shrubs including the larger bush that died this summer, we will also be replacing the mulch that has been needing to be re-done. Then hopefully we will fill it back up with some new plants to give our home a new fresh look!

Planning Ahead:

This is a project that has been on our list for a while. One of the things I think is important when you’re planning on undertaking a big project is to plan ahead! We really believe in being debt free so even in projects like this we want to have all of our budget and resources planned out before we begin, that way we aren’t stuck paying for things on credit in order to get everything finished.

You can check out the website for more details on The Bagster Bag! I’m excited to get started and share my thoughts on this new product & service with you!

We have been redoing a lot of landscaping here at our house too. The main thing I wanted was low to no maintenance!! One of the best things we did was getting rid of all the mulch in the beds. My husband is a pest inspector, and having mulch around your home is just an invitation for carpenter/wood ants and termites. It’s amazing the damage he sees from this. We took it all out and put in lava rock. While it may have cost more up front, it could potentially save us thousands of $$$ in the long run! Good luck with your project.

I have been thinking about using one of those for our basement clean out. Will have to see how it works out for others.
