How to Get Amazon Lightning Deals

Let’s talk about one of my favorite ways to shop during Black Friday & Cyber Monday! Amazon Lightning Deals are one of the BEST ways to get amazing deals at rock bottom prices without ever leaving your house!

During Black Friday Weekend, Cyber Monday and all the way through Christmas we will see some Awesome Amazon Lightning Deals on this year’s hottest products, the trick is these sell out SUPER fast during November & December. We actually had some sell out in just minutes today which is why I wanted to make sure you guys knew how to do this trick so that you don’t miss out!

Every morning we post a list of the Top Amazon Lightning Deals for that day. These are the items we think you’ll love + Some of the most popular items being featured in the Lightning Deals. There are over 500 lightning deals some days during the holidays so it’s a good idea to Bookmark this Amazon Lightning Deals Page to see all the best deals each morning! Then Set an alarm on your phone or make sure you’re following the Passion For Savings Facebook Group to get alerts before the deals go live.

If there is a deal you want, it’s a good idea to be ready and waiting BEFORE the deal goes live. One of the things that happens on really hot items is that they go to 100% Claimed in just Minutes or even SECONDS and most people think they have missed the deal, but you often still have a chance to Join the Waitlist.

IMPORTANT: I Join the Waitlist for Every Item I think I might Want, you’ll get a chance to decide later so click Join Waitlist as fast as you can to be higher up on the Waitlist and have a chance at the deal before it’s sold out.

When you successfully join the waitlist you should see a notification letting you know you’re on the waitlist. Sometimes it will tell you your chances of getting a deal, but I don’t worry about that too much I’ve gotten so many deals off the waitlist that I don’t really think it matters where you are on the list, it matters that you are around when it’s your turn!

Once you are on the waitlist for the item you want, you can continue shopping on Amazon. I like to leave an Amazon Browser open because that lets me keep an eye on the waitlist items.

HOW IT WORKS: When someone adds an item to their cart from a Lightning Deal they have 15 minutes to complete their purchase. During busy months or on Hot Items people will often add the item to their cart before deciding if they really want to buy it. If they don’t make a purchase within 15 minutes the item goes to the next person on the Waitlist.

 

 

When it’s your turn on the Waitlist you will see a Deal Notification Pop Up on your screen. This will tell you that it’s your turn to add the item to your cart. You don’t have very long to add the item to your cart so you want to act fast.

TIP: If you have the Amazon App on your phone, make sure you enable Deal Notifications, You will get an alert on your phone when its your turn on the waitlisted item. :) This is super helpful!

Once you add the item to your cart you have 15 Minutes to complete your transaction and claim your item before it goes to the next person on the waitlist.

Most Amazon Lightning Deals have a set quantity that are sold at the lightning deal price. When all of the items have been purchased the item will show Sold Out on the original Lightning Deals Page.
