One of my favorite things to buy every year during this sale is a new pair of jeans! I love name brand jeans, but I don’t love the prices and these are some of the best deals all year! I would recommend buying more than one size because Nordstrom offers free returns, and the chances are the price will go up or the sizes will sell out if you end up needing to exchange something so I have found it’s better to order 2 sizes if I’m not sure, then just return the one that doesn’t fit!

Top 10 Tips For The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
1.) Sign Up for the Nordstrom Credit Card so you can shop early, the best styles and sizes are going to go fast, so be ready to shop when the sale opens. If you sign up now and make a purchase you’ll get a FREE $40 to spend during the sale!
2.) Shop the Restocks – Nordstrom doesn’t announce the Restock Dates but they are known for frequently restocking items so if you find something sold out you want, add the item to your wishlist in the app and you’ll be notified when the item comes back in stock!
3.) Only Buy What’s On Sale – This is tricky any time, but it’s easy when you get online and start shopping around to find things you want, if they aren’t on sale, just wait! Don’t get pulled into the trap of buying things at full price while shopping a sale.
4.) Order 2 sizes and return one – If you’re shopping online remember Nordstrom has Free Shipping and Free Returns, it’s really easy I have returned a lot of stuff to Nordstrom, if you don’t know what size to get order 2 sizes because it will sell out and it won’t be on sale at a later date if you need to exchange the item. It’s better to order 2 and send one back since there are no additional fees for doing that.
5.) Don’t let things sit in your cart! This is really one of the biggest sales of the year! Don’t let items sit in your cart because they will sell out fast! There’s no shipping fee, and no minimum purchase required so if you find something you want, buy it now then shop around. You don’t want to risk having things sell out when it’s in your cart.
6.) Compare Prices! Remember other retailers will be watching the prices and matching them, Don’t forget to compare on Amazon and other sites to make sure you’re actually getting a good deal!
7.) Take Inventory – Know what items you already have and what you need. You don’t want to get pulled into buying a new pair of jeans if you already have 7 pairs that fit :)
8.) Make a List – It’s just as important to make a list for a sale like this so you know what you are looking for. There will litterally be hundreds of items on sale, if you know what you’re after then it won’t be as overwhelming.
9.) Search for your Favorite Brands – If you have a favorite brand do a search for that brand, it will narrow down the choices and let you see more of what you love. The sale can be overwhelming especially online because you will have thousands of items to look through, so I like to search by brands I already know fit me well and I love to see what’s marked down.
10.) Filter by your size – One thing that will happen a lot is an item might not be sold out completely, but it is sold out in your size. I try to filter the sale items by my size of shoes, sweaters, jeans, etc. so that I’m not spending time browsing items that won’t fit me! It’s much faster and it narrows down the choices a little bit so it’s less overwhelming.
