No one said anything about the trash bags. I buy the white kitchen can bags (they come with the easy to tie flap) 80 bags for$4.99!!!! ENTER YOUR COMMENT HERE
I love their frozen skinny green beans…the best! Shop there every week..sometimes twice…best price for produce and dairy.
EGGS!!! Cream. Sour cream , half and half! Their dairy products are great! I don’t like their coffee but everything there is delicious! Mama Cozi pizzas $2! Aldi has been my salvation so I can feed my family!
I buy nearly all my staples at Aldi. And they nearly always have a great selection of specialty items. They change a lot, every time I go is different, but that’s okay. Variety is the spice of life right? Since I save money it’s worth, and I can buy what few specialty items at the regular store and still come out ahead.
Ground Turkey — 1.89 a pound. Can’t beat that. I usually have a few pounds in the freezer for last minute meals like chili, enchiladas, tacos, spaghetti, turkey burgers. In fact, my husband and I are going on vacation Friday and didn’t want to fill our fridge with groceries before leaving so I spent $20 on milk, fruit and veggies and between frozen chicken and a couple pounds of ground turkey, we are going to make do until Friday.
I am a HUGE fan of ALDI. They carry a good variety of gf foods now with quality better than most name brands. Canned tuna, cream cheese and ziptop food storage bags are among ALDI must-haves for quality money savers. I also scan their special purchase items thru the year for holiday gift exchange gifts that fit neatly into the $10 or under requirement. I will However, disagree with one item on this list, at least for my Ohio location, and that is milk. ALDI milk from my local store has never lasted me to the sell by date and develops a thick residue at the bottom of the jug. Idk what is in it, but I steer clear of that for my family. Aside from this, the only reason I buy from groceries other than ALDI is if with coupon and sale pricing, I can get a cheaper price per unit. Love ALDI.
We have had the same problem with the milk in Michigan. Love Aldi though! I just buy our milk at Sam’s Club now.
Their beef tenderloin is a great buy – they don’t always have it but when they do I buy 3 or 4 & freeze them!
Don’t forget their wild caught salmon. 2lbs for $8 is hard to come by any where else!!
Aldi’s hummus is sooo good and also the cheapest around. I like saving money, but the taste/quality has to be good. Other great things to buy there are tortilla chips, veggie straws, 100% fruit juice, raisins, prunes, cream cheese, most produce, frozen broccoli, mini croissants, kitchen sponges, plastic freezer bags, tissues. I tried their glass cleaner and did not care for it, left lots of streaks. But overall, I am impressed with the quality AND the fact that I can get in and out of there quickly b/c it’s a small store and no comparing brands and prices b/c there is just their brand.
Yes on broccoli n getting your shopping done quickly. ALDI is a
very efficient was to shop.
I love that I am able to buy gluten free pasta & crackers that tats good and don’t break the bank! I’m such a fan of Aldi’s, I can buy 2 weeks worth of grocery for a family of 3 and spend under $100!
I love ALDI, we just had one open last week where I live. I was shocked at their prices on most items. I’m not sure if it was because of the grand opening, put they had several veggies and fruits at incredible prices too. Roma tomatoes 6 for 69 cents, avacados 49 cents each! I definitely will be shopping there in the future!
I buy almost all of these items except for Aldi’s cheese and their gum. The gum is nasty…not worth the 25 cents!
Don’t forget their recent gluten free additions. I don’t use them but someone I know has become loyal to aldi because if these items!
