Do you remove the foil before baking?

    1. Passion For Savings says:

Hi Jessie, you want to leave the foil on so the moisture stays in the pan which will help the no boil noodles cook!

  2. Jessie E. says:

Do you take off the foil before baking or keep it on?

    1. Passion For Savings says:

Leave the foil on. If you’re using those no-boil noodles, you’ll want to make sure the sauce really cooks into the noodles and the foil helps keep the moisture in!

  3. Heather says:

Did you boil your pasta first?

    1. Passion For Savings says:

No, that’s the beauty of this recipe. But make sure you purchase the Barilla lasagna oven ready noodles

  4. Huda says:

Hello! Any idea how long this can last in the freezer?

    1. Passion For Savings says:

About 6 months would be the longest you’d probably want to keep it in the freezer before eating it.

Thank you for sharing!! This was a hit last night at my house! Making another this weekend to freeze for a quick go-to-meal. And shopped at Aldi for all my ingredients #savingalways.

  6. Holly says:

Could you substitute cottage cheese for the ricotta cheese?

    1. I think it might have a little more liquid to it so you might end up with a little more watery lasagna, but I’m sure you could swap it if that’s what you prefer.

  7. Carol says:

Can you cook it straight from the freezer? Or do I have to thaw it?

    1. I prefer to Thaw mine first, but you can cook straight from frozen I just like to lower the temp. and cook longer
