When do Amazon Black Friday Deals Start?
Amazon is doing ONE MASSIVE Black Friday sale this year that kicks off November 20th and runs ALL the way through December 1st (yes, that’s nearly two whole weeks of deals!). Some goodies will be on sale the entire time (until they sell out—set those cart reminders!), others will be daily deals that will pop up for just 24 hours, and then there are those lightning deals that vanish in a few hours.
Amazon Black Friday Deals start at 12:01am PST on November 20 (A FULL WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING) and run until December 1st (Cyber Monday) with THOUSANDS Of Black Friday Deals on your favorite Toys, Electronics, and More!

What can you expect?
Amazon is teasing up to 50% off on must-haves like artificial Christmas trees, seasonal decor, and Amazon devices (think Echo Dots and Fire TV Sticks at record lows).
Tech lovers: Look for savings on Bose headphones, Ninja kitchen appliances, Sony TVs, and Apple gear, with some deals dipping as low as 65% off print books or 80% on Kindle titles.
Toys are a highlight too—up to 40% off Magna-Tiles, Melissa & Doug sets, and Nerf blasters, straight from Amazon’s 2025 Hot Toy List.
Fashion fans will spot Levi’s jeans and Patagonia outerwear slashed by 50%, while beauty steals from Dyson and more round out the lineup.
Amazon Black Friday Sale Tips!
1. Shopping Options: Amazon’s Black Friday sale is online only. If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll get free 2-day (or faster) shipping on your order. If you don’t have Prime, you’ll need to spend $35 or more.
2. Doorbusters: Amazon Lightning Deals are the Amazon equivalent of doorbusters. These are deals can be up to 90% off, are usually a short supply, and rarely last more than a few hours. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Prime members get access to Lightning Deals 30 minutes before everyone else, which can help you get Black Friday deals before they sell out. If you’re a Prime member, hit the “Prime Early Access” box on the Daily Deals page to shop early. Not a Prime member yet? You can sign up for Prime here.
In addition to the Lighting Deals, Amazon will offer daily deals, with 24-hour savings on many popular brands.
3. Holiday Policies:
- Price Adjustments: Amazon doesn’t do price matching or price adjustments.
- Return Policy: Amazon usually offers extended returns until Jan. 31 on purchases made between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. They haven’t officially announced the 2025 return deadline, but that is what it has been in previous years.
4. Cyber Monday: Amazon will often bring back some of their hot Black Friday prices for Cyber Monday. For example, for Amazon’s own devices (Echos, Fire Tablets, etc.), we saw the price stay the same from the moment Amazon’s Black Friday sale kicked off through Cyber weekend last year.
There have been products that come in at lower prices on Cyber Monday, than on Black Friday. However, our advice is this: Start shopping Black Friday deals as soon as you see them, as many sell out quickly! Cyber weekend is more of a last chance to score deals or find new ones, than an event to wait for.
Upcoming Amazon Black Friday Deals 2025
- New this year, gift card giveaways: Starting November 20, if you’re signed up for emails or push notifications in the Amazon app, you could randomly receive a $50 gift card.
- Travel deals: Amazon is bringing back Black Friday travel deals. If you book through the Amazon travel booking site, you can get 50% off Expedia hotel bookings and earn 15% back (in the form of an Amazon gift card) on Avis car rentals.
- Watch for subscription discounts: Amazon often has offers for free trials of its subscriptions, like Kindle Unlimited or Amazon Music Unlimited, during Black Friday. We’ve seen as many as four months free in the past.
- Look for gift cards up to 20% off: Black Friday through Cyber Monday, Amazon customers can usually save on gift cards with Lightning Deals from top brands and restaurants. In 2024, we saw up to 20% off gift cards from retailers like Bath & Body Works, Krispy Kreme, IHOP, Jamba, and Victoria’s Secret.Pro Tip: Discounted Gift Cards are basically free money because you are giving yourself more to spend at your favorite place!
- Shop Amazon Fresh for deals on the Thanksgiving meal: Through Amazon’s grocery delivery service, you can get a turkey and selection of sides to feed five people for $5 per person.
