Cereal Yogurt Pops
Can You Use Any Cereal You Want In These Yogurt Bars
Absolutely! You can essentially use any of your favorite cereals. We reached for Fruit Loops for a colorful and fun cereal. But feel free to buy any of your favorite cereals.
Or if you want to create a mix, buy the small single-serve boxes of cereal. Then you could do a mix of cereal ice pops all at once without having to buy full-size boxes.
What Popsicle Mold To Buy
I bought this 10 Popsicle Mold! It has a cover you put over the top to hold the sticks in place! This was such a nice perk, and you make quite a few at once!
You can buy molds that have plastic reusable sticks. It is honestly whatever you personal preference is!
How Long Does It Take Yogurt Popsicles to Freeze
You will want to have your popsicles in the freezer for a minimum of 4-5 hours. Depending on the yogurt and how cold your freezer is will depend how fast or slow it will take.
One tip I did is make sure to push the popsicles back on the shelf. That way if you open or close the door you don’t create that warming effect as much when you open the door.
What If I Have A Hard Time Getting Popsicles Out
2 Ingredient Cereal Yogurt Pops Recipe
2 ingredients is all it takes to make these cereal yogurt pops. A quick and easy breakfast or snack for your child. Use Greek yogurt for added protein.
Ingredients
- Vanilla Greek Yogurt (or any yogurt you like)
- Cereal
- Popsicle Mold and Sticks
Instructions
- Layer the yogurt and cereal inside the mold. Depending on the type of yogurt you use, it might expand while freezing. (The greek yogurt we used did not!)
- Add the popsicle sticks and freeze for 4-5 hours or until frozen.
- Once done remove and enjoy your easy cereal yogurt pops.
Notes
You can make as much or as little as you need for your popsicles. Change up cereal and yogurt to whatever you like.
