Mini Apple Pie Bites Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
1 Box of Puff Pastry (2 Sheets)
6 Large Apples
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Tbsp of Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Flour
Topping:
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Flour
Combine All Ingredients in a Measuring Cup and Mix Well with a Fork.
DIRECTIONS:
Spray a Mini Muffin Pan with Cooking Spray
Cut Each Puff Pastry Sheet into 9 Squares (Approx 3″ each)
Peel and Slice Apples
Place Diced Apples in a Bowl and Top with Sugar, Cinnamon, and Flour
Stir well and Microwave on High in 2 Minute Intervals (6 Minutes Total – Stirring In Between each interval)
Place each Puff Pastry Square in one Mini Muffin Tin Area
Fill with the Apple Mixture and then Top with the Topping
Bake at 400 for 15 Minutes or until Puff Pastry is slightly brown
Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving, the Sugar mixture will be hot!
