It’s that time of the year again. Time to start thinking about Back to School and making your Back to School Shopping List. Lots of shopping for many different kinds of things. School supplies, clothes, shoes and more.
To get prepared for all the school supplies your child will need, some schools will post a Back to School Shopping List by grade for you to use. If they don’t, below is a general guideline you can use to get you started.
A couple things to keep in mind when shopping back to school
:: Some schools do not allow a rolling backpack. It is best to check with your school before making this purchase.
:: Different schools have different policies about covering school books. Some require a “book sock” and others prefer you just use paper bags. Check with your school before purchasing the books socks as you may not need them.

As a parent I love a great deal as a teacher I HATE it when I do not get what I put on the list. If your school puts crayola crayons (markers, whatever the item may be) buy that brand. It is extremely frustrating to say be teaching children their colors and when I say red, the off brand crayons are not actually red!
PLEASE buy the brand indicated on your schools list. If no brand is listed find the best deal by all means.
