I know that Holiday Shopping Season means everyone is looking for the lowest prices on the items they need to buy. So I put together this list of my Top 10 iPhone Apps to Save Money on Christmas Gifts!
Best Shopping Apps for Saving Money
Favado – This is actually a Money Saving Grocery App that you can use all year long, but during Black Friday this app can actually save you big money on Christmas Shopping as well! Check out our Black Friday Best Deals Database and search for all the items on your shopping list this year. Find the lowest prices on the items you need and Check the Box next to the item to add the item to your list. You can then Sync Your Black Friday Shopping list with the Favado App and have everything you need on the go! Beautiful! Sign up for Favado Here – Search the Black Friday Deals Database Here.
Red Laser – This is another great app that will help you compare prices online. You can scan barcodes in stores and find the best sales and deals at nearby locations and stores. You can also scan in all your Store Loyalty Cards so that you have them in one place.
Target Cartwheel – This is one of my favorite apps for saving on Christmas gifts and more! There are several hundred cartwheel coupons valid for 5-50% off Toys, Wrapping Paper, Holiday Decorations and more. These coupons change daily so make sure you download the app for all the best deals. During the months of November and December Target is releasing a new cartwheel coupon each morning for 50% off one of the hot holiday toys. This is a great way to save on Christmas Gifts! Check back each morning and we’ll let you know what the day’s deals are.
Retail Me Not – Search for all the best in store coupons with this app. When you hit the mall to do your holiday shopping make sure you download this app first. You can search for a store name “Kohls” for example, then see all the in store coupons that are valid for that store, it’s a great way to save money in stores on items you were already planning on buying.
Cardstar – This app allows you to Import all your loyalty card bar codes into this app and scan your phone at checkout instead of the card. The app also alerts you to specials at stores where you shop. I can never remember to bring all of my rewards cards with me and Cardstar is the easy way to always have the ones you need without filling up your wallet! (Note: I’ve also really had good luck with Passbook on apple devices)
ShopKick – How would you like to get paid just for shopping? Shopkick is one of my favorite ways to earn FREE Gift Cards! Just Check In at each of the stores you visit including Target, American Eagle and more, then you’ll earn Points or “Kicks” that you can redeem for Free Stuff or Gift Cards! Since you are already going to be hitting the stores for holiday shopping you’ll want to start using this app right away to rack up as many points as possible + During the Holidays they often run bonus point offers so keep your eyes open for those.
Savings Catcher – One of the easiest ways I know of to save money is by scanning the bar-code at the bottom of your Walmart Receipt using the Savings Catcher App. Walmart will actually compare the prices of the items you buy with the sale prices at stores in your area and give you the difference back on a gift card! It’s a simple way to save that can add up fast! All you need to do is download the Walmart Savings Catcher App to get started! Then check out the bottom of your Walmart receipt for details.
Shop Adviser – This is a great app for comparing the past prices, Have you ever wondered “Is this a good deal” if you have then make sure you check out the Shop Adviser App it will give you a 6-12 month price history of the products your searching for so that you know if the sale price you found is a good deal or not! It helps you make informed decisions about when to buy!
Price Grabber – This is another app that allows you to search for the lowest price on an item you want. You just type in the item you are searching for and you can read product reviews, compare prices and more!
Shop Savvy – Have you ever wondered if something on sale was a good deal or not? Stores want us to buy on impulse when we see a sale sign, but just because something is on “Sale” Does not mean it’s the best deal. That’s where the Shop Savvy App comes in, you can Scan the Barcode in stores and see all the deals available online for the same item, that way you know if you’ve found a good deal!
