1. Black Friday Deals go Live BEFORE Black Friday
Most people think you have to wait till Black Friday to get awesome deals, but the truth is you can get actual Black Friday Deals (or better) Before the stores open late Thursday Night. Last year almost all of the stores put their Black Friday Deals online starting on Sunday of Thanksgiving week. You don’t always know exactly which deals will be available online or what time they will go live, but it’s a good idea to be prepared well in advance so you can shop online starting Saturday Night before Thanksgiving.
Here are a few stores that went live before Black Friday last year online, I expect these same stores to go live early again this year so make sure you Sign Up for Black Friday Email Alerts & join our Facebook Group to find out when the stores go live:
Kohls, Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy, Target
2. Black Friday Prices are often BETTER online
This is something most people don’t think about; since a lot of store coupons end on the Wednesday Before Black Friday if you have a store who has deals that go live early there are often still coupons and coupon codes available to use.
A great example of this is Kohls, Kohls will often let you stack Coupon Codes + Black Friday Prices + you earn Kohl’s Cash and Rebates when you shop the Black Friday Deals which means AWESOME Savings! I’ve found sometimes Kohl’s Items are cheaper online during their Black Friday sale than they are in stores on Black Friday.
3. You don’t have to Miss Out on In-Store Shopping
I know there are a lot of you (Like Me) Who love the thrill of shopping in stores on Black Friday. Because some stores go live online before Black Friday you can do both! You can shop online before Black Friday and get as many deals as you can find, then go to the stores to get any remaining items on your list. This is a great way to reduce the number of stores you need to make it to on Black Friday and a great way to get Hot Items before they sell out!
Now, all that being said there are still plenty of stores that run Black Friday Deals online starting at the same time as in store deals so if you don’t want to brave the crowds make sure you join our Black Friday Facebook Group to get updates all night long with HOT Deals as they go live!
4. Black Friday Sales sell out FAST!
Just like in store deals there are often limited quantities of the best items available for sale online so you need to be ready before the sales go live (Similar to waiting in line) and then be logged in to the site and ready to check out!
Again, If you haven’t joined the Sign Up for Black Friday Email Alerts or our Black Friday Facebook Group then you’re missing out! We’ll be telling you when we expect the deals to go live!
5. Black Friday Sales start LATE at Night & EARLY in the morning.
The most common times for deals to go live online is at Midnight EST or Midnight PST. Online sites don’t have “Opening Hours” So they tend to start deals when the day officially starts which means you want to Stay Up Late to get the best deals. I typically stay up late each night starting on Sunday of Thanksgiving week so that I can shop the online deals each night. Items sell out fast so if you wait till the next day the best deals will be sold out.
On the flip side of the spectrum some stores have been known to open at 5-6am Online. Either way Late at Night and Early Mornings are the best times to get Black Friday Online Deals, we RARELY see these going live in the middle of the day so make sure you’re watching for theses ales and ready to shop during these hot times!
6. You can SAVE MORE shopping Black Friday Deals Online
One of the reasons stores run “Loss Leaders” on Hot Items during their Black Friday Sales is to get you to come into the stores. Just like any other time of the year shopping ONLY the loss leaders will help you save money. Stores know if you come in you’re more likely to buy other items that might not be as good of a deal. By shopping online it’s easier to avoid adding those extra items to your cart which means you buy what you need without all the additional items and you save money!
7. Thanksgiving Deals are often BETTER than Black Friday
Black Friday deals are great, but did you know that retailers know you will be spending money on Black Friday and because they want to get their piece of that money before you hit the stores Most retailers run AMAZING Thanksgiving Day sales. Thanksgiving Day Sales online where you can “Shop while the stores are closed” are often some of the best sales we see all year long! Even if you have big plans with family during Thanksgiving Day you can get up early and shop online before lunch to get some awesome sales.
By this time you’ll already have access to all the Black Friday Deals so you’ll know if you’re finding deals that are better than Black Friday Prices and you can buy with confidence!
