Can I use chicken wings
You could definitely try it, but I haven’t ever tried using wings before.
Was great and a hit, but it still has a long johns flavor that is missing. Has anyone figured it out?
I made this tonight for dinner tonight and it was delicious, and I love how easy this was to prepare! Thanks for sharing!
I made this yesterday and it was delicious! I like that there are no eggs or milk in the batter, gives me the illusion of a “low” calorie meal haha… I will just conveniently forget about the frying part ;)
Very delicious easy to make.everyone enjoyed it
I use a very similar recipe except I add a tablespoon of vinegar right before I dip the chicken (or fish) into it. It creates a foamy texture in the batter which makes a lighter, crisper, and more fragile crust. Try it, you’ll love it!
How much oil do you use for this recipe?
It’s up to you, but I would try 1 or 2 Tablespoons, you can always add more if you need to.
Tried this for my granddaughter who loves Long John Silver’s chicken. She said it tasted just like it, so it was a hit! Will definitely make this again.
Oh my goodness. These are THE BEST. So happy to have found this. Made them today and kids are begging for more
Do you think this could be baked and still be delicious?
I haven’t tried it, but if you do, come back and let me know how it turned out!
How many servings does the chicken make?
Hi Dee, I don’t really remember, but if you try the recipe you are welcome to come back and comment with how many it made for you.
