How to Store Leftover Wassil
You will want to store any leftover Wassil in the refrigerator. I place in a pitcher and store it that way. It will last 4-5 days in the refrigerator. Then warm up by the glass or the whole pitcher if you plan to serve a crowd.
Do You Drink Wassail Cold or Hot
Either. Generally, wassil is served as a hot drink, but once it has been refrigerated I tend to sip on it cold. It tastes like a really spiced up apple cider in a sense.
What Exactly Is Wassail
This is a classic drink that is like a spiced apple cider. You use a variety of fruit juices, spices and more to make an incredible holiday drink. You can serve the whole family or add some alcohol and make it an adult beverage. You will find it is made both ways.
What Is The Difference Between Wassail And Apple Cider
Not really much is different. Wassail uses orange juice, apple juice or cider, cranberry and so on to be made. So it has more levels of flavor but ultimately they have very similar flavors. Wassail just requires more ingredients to be made.
Mmmm! I can smell it now! Talk about all of the aromas and flavors of home! I can’t wait to serve this at my holiday parties and to my family! I just know it’s going to be a huge hit!

Looks delish! I’ll be making this for Christmas Day. I’m using cider instead of apple juice and I noticed in your photo you used “cranberry blend”, have you tried it with real cran juice? Think it would be too bitter? we like to try to keep thinks a little cleaner.
