Crockpot Apple Cider
We love homemade apple cider in our home. There is something about fresh apple cider ladled up into mugs or my mason jar cups. Sip away and enjoy the flavors of fall. Try Wassil punch for a fun twist as well.
With apple season upon us, now is the time to whip up some incredible cider to sip and relax.
Do You Cook Slow Cooker Apple Cider On Low Or High Setting
You can actually do a low or high setting for this cider. Simmer on high for 3-4 hours, or turn to low 4-6 hours. Depending on how fast we want to serve it up depends on which setting. Most of the time though we reach for a low setting. It really infuses the spices nicely!
What Spices Are In Homemade Apple Cider
- Cloves
- Fresh Ginger
- All Spice
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon Sticks
These come together and really infuse this apple cider with incredible spice and flavor. If you love store-bought apple cider you will go bonkers over this homemade version.
Best Way To Store Apple Cider
After you are done serving up your cider, just place in a container and place in the fridge. I just use a pitcher to store ours. Then you can either drink cold or warm up by the glass or heat up a batch on the stovetop.
We like drinking it cold in the mornings, it is like a spiced up apple juice for first thing. But, feel free to drink however you would prefer.
