How to Put Together a Fort Building Kit Gift
You only need a handful of supplies, so this is a relatively inexpensive gift idea.
What You’ll Need for a Fort Building Kit
- Rope
- Large Plastic Clamps
- A Sheet
- Clothes Pins
- Twinkle Lights, if desired
- Snacks, if desired
- Command Hooks
- A Basket, bin, or box – Anything will work to hold the fort building kit items
- Ribbon and/or trims – Totally optional, but it will look festive and much more like a gift if you use them!
How to Put Together a Kit to Build a Fort
First, assemble all your supplies. I found everything I needed at my local supercenter. I chose a white sheet, but you totally could get a fun patterned one, if you’d like! Or, you could even include fabric markers so the white sheet could be decorated. Super fun!
There are also SO many twinkle light options out there. Of course, you don’t *need* twinkle lights to make a fort, but they’re so fun, right? Anyway, gather all of your items and arrange them in the basket. I like to place all of the taller items in the back and the shorter, smaller items in the front, just like you would for an Easter basket.
