How to Make Glow in the Dark SpidersYou only need a few supplies to create a spooky fun DIY Glowing Spider!
Supplies to Make a Glowing Spider
- 5.6″ Floracraft White Foam Ball – You don’t have to buy one EXACTLY this size. Depending on the brand you use, the measurements may differ slightly. That’s just fine as long as it still looks like a spider!
- 3.8″ Floracraft White Foam Ball
- 10.5″ Glow in the Dark Bracelets
- 5″ Glow Stick
Instructions for DIY Glow-in-the-Dark Spider Decor
First, crack all bracelets and glow sticks so they glow! Don’t forget this part, as you’ll have to take your spider apart to crack them. It’s also important to create these within an hour or two of when you’re going to use them, or they’ll lose their glow.
Next, hold the larger foam ball in your lap and press the glow stick into it halfway. (Smaller children might need help with this part, if you’re having your kiddos help you!) Place the smaller foam ball over the glow stick and press down over it, so the glow stick attaches the two foam balls together. Mine stayed just fine without glue, but Gorilla Glue would work well if you prefer to glue it.
Lastly, insert four glow-in-the-dark bracelets into each side of the spider’s body. That’s it! These would be a BLAST to place around your front porch on Halloween for the trick-or-treaters, don’t you think? I can’t wait for you to try this!!

DIY Glow in the Dark Spiders a FUN Halloween Decoration Idea!
A fun Halloween project for kids or a fantastic spooky decor idea, these DIY Glow in the Dark Spiders are an unexpected decor idea that's easy to make and fun to share with visitors!

- 1 5.6" Floracraft White Foam Ball
