Baked Tortellini Recipe
So you can make a homemade pasta sauce to pair with your tortellini, or you can opt to buy a jar. I reach for jarred pasta when I can to help cut a corner in the prep department, but not give up the quality of the flavor of the dish. I used the Bertolli Tomato and Basil but you are welcome to use any of your favorite brand of pasta sauce.
Do You Use Fresh Tortellini Pasta for Baked Tortellini
I like to use Refrigerated Fresh Tortellini. I find the flavor over the frozen doesn’t even stand a chance. You can use a Cheese Tortellini or a Meat Tortellini, it really is up to you!

How to Make Baked Tortellini
The first step is to place the Sauce and Cream Cheese in the baking dish, then place the dish in the oven for about 10 minutes on 350 Degrees. When you pull it out of the oven the cheese and sauce will both be warm and you can easily mix the 2 together to make a creamy sauce!
I like to boil my pasta before adding it to the sauce mixture, then I add the Tortellini to the Sauce Mixture along with the Parmesan cheese, and then Top with Mozerella. It’s so rich and delicious but SO SIMPLE! Let’s just say that again, this is a recipe you can make for your family or for a crowd and it’s so simple with only 5 Ingredients Total!
Serve with your favorite Salad, Bread, or Vegetables! My family loves Salad and since this dish is so rich, it’s a nice mixture, my kids even ask for seconds of this!

What is your favorite tortellini recipe?
Can you not add Cream Cheese to pasta?
I have made this recipe several times now and the whole family loves it. I have 3 teenage boys so I added some turkey meatballs. Huge hit, they loved it as much as a lasagna that takes hours to prepare. Thank you!
Great recipe thanks for sharing
This recipe is amazing!! My husband loved it!!
Has anyone added hamburger to this recipe?
I’m making it for the first time right now, it’s in the oven now. We eat a lot of pasta, and a lot of tortilini.. I wouldn’t add hamburger to it, but definitely diced or shredded chicken for sure!! If I would have had more time to get dinner ready tonight before my fiancé leaves for work, I would have loved to have added chicken!
Made this for dinner last night and it was delicious. Made as instructed, no changes. I just added some fresh chopped corriander on top just before serving for colour./
Big hit with the family. My 19 year old went back for 3rds. Super easy meal. Will definitely be a regular in our house.
