Educational Kids TV Shows
- Wild Kratts. This was a favorite of my kids when they were younger. In this animated series, kids are introduced to a variety of wild animal species and learn about science concepts such as animal behavior, habitats, and adaptation in this show which is brimming with real-life zoologist brothers Chris and Martin Kratt’s good humor and sense of adventure. Available on PBS Kids & Amazon Prime.
- Odd Squad. Kids will solve problems using addition, subtraction, fact families, and other grade-school math skills. Available on PBS Kids & Amazon Prime.
- Team Umizoomi. This is a cute superhero-themed learning show. Normally, there is some sort of problem that needs to be solved and they use math and shapes to figure out a solution. Available on Netflix & Amazon Prime.
- Word World. Young children are introduced to a colorful, vibrant world of words with the lovable, legible WordFriends — animals whose bodies are made up of the letters that spell the word they are. Available on Amazon Prime.
