One of the things I want to encourage you to do this year is to See Your Savings! So often we save on Groceries, Health and Beauty Products and more and if we aren’t careful we won’t actually realize the savings so this year I’ve put together the 52 Week Savings Challenge Printable Worksheet! How are you saving Money this year? You can save over $1300 Just by adding an extra $1 to your savings each week!
You can download the FREE 52 Week Savings Goal Worksheet Here
Each week you add $1 to the amount you’re going to save. You can save $1 the first week, then $2, then $3 etc until you get to $52 the last week of the year!
Some people find it helpful to do this chart in reverse so you don’t end up with the biggest amounts at the end of the year during the holidays. I personally love this idea because I know we have a lot of food and necessities from the holidays that we can use up and have a few No-Spending Weeks to knock out those larger amounts. You are also more motivated in the beginning of the year so working backwards might be a good idea if you think you’ll fall off later in the year.
Another tip that I love is Making your Savings Visible! Just like a child saving in a Piggy Bank, create a Jar or place where you stash away these savings separately from everything else, You can have a Mason Jar where you add the money each week, or set up a separate Free Checking Account like this Capital One 360 Checking Account so that you don’t accidentally spend the money, it will be so much more fun to see the money add up when you can track it separately.
You can get a Fee-Free Capital One 360 Checking Account Here.
Don’t forget to download the Free 52 Week Savings Goal Worksheet Here. You can start next week with only $1! So start adding up your savings and see how much you can save each week! At the end of the year you will be surprised how much you’ve saved!
