There are several ways to get the supplies you need for your new bundle of joy on a budget. Taking care of your baby on a budget is actually easier than you might think! I have several frugal baby care tips to help you get everything you need and keep your budget in tact.
Sign Up For Samples
Signing up for baby samples is a great way to get many free goodies in your mailbox. Before you know it, you will be getting diaper cream, lotion and free coupons to try out different types of baby food! Sometimes the items are full-size but typically, the items are trial size. Keep all your trial size items in one location for easy access when you are packing up the diaper bag.
Ask For Coupons
Diapers and formula are two of the most expensive things you will have to purchase on a regular basis. Diapers and formula are also the two easiest things to score coupons for! Make it a point to ask family and friends to save baby coupons for you, print them off the internet, sign up at the Pampers and Huggies website for coupons. If you are using formula, you can sign up for coupons from the brand you are using. Similac and Enfamil are known for sending parents vouchers towards purchasing formula. They will also send you a starter kit when you first sign up!
Purchase in Bulk
You might find that you don’t have much time coupon now that baby is here, and that is okay! Go to your local Sam’s Club or Costco and check out how much it would cost you to purchase baby items in bulk. You won’t save as much money this way but every penny counts. You can purchase diapers, formula, lotion, ointment and other baby care items in bulk.
