You must have a bachelor’s degree to apply, live in an area with a strong internet connection, and work well with kids. You should be able to commit to a 6-month contract with the program upon acceptance.
2. What is the hiring process like?
Once you fill out the online application, you will have an interview scheduled. This interview will help determine if you are good for the program. You will also have to take an internet test, to make sure your internet is capable of connecting to the program and your overseas students without issue.
3. What is a tutoring session like?
VIPKIDS will provide you with a student who is ready to learn, and your session will take place virtually through their secure portal. VIPKIDS will handle all of the back-end work like conferencing with parents, setting up the schedule, and curriculum. Each session is about 1 hour long.
4. How much does it pay?
Based on your credentials, you can earn $14-$22 an hour.
5. Can I set my own schedule?
You can! It is best to be flexible, but you don’t have to work hours that aren’t convenient for you. There is no maximum of hours you can complete, so the sky is the limit!
